I can also confirm this bug, After entering login details in SDDM, plasma
splash screen appears but the progress bar remains frozen at 0%. During
that time, from a console using `top` I can see kdeinit5 running at 100%
CPU. After a few minutes the plasma session finally opens normally.

It seems to have something to do with the sound.
When the game starts it plays the intro music. As long as the music plays, I

I can confirm this bug, on amd64 sid.
Downgrading package libept1.4.16 from version 1.0.14+b2 (in sid) to 1.0.14+b1

Dear reporter,
Please check and report back whether this problem remains in the
latest upstream version of zotero (3.0.14).
If the problem remains, please open a bug report upstream. I doubt
this has anything to do with the packaging.

Thanks for the report! I'm aware of this already.
I'm currently waiting for wheezy to be released, before I upload a new
zotero version to sid.

Thanks for your request.
I may indeed get to packaging and maintaining the standalone version of
Zotero, but right now it's a lower priority than the Zotero LibreOffice plugin
(still on my to-do list) and the Zotero Iceweasel extension (which needs a
small update).
