I had the same problem. Iceweasel did not open the mailto links.
When xmessage put in place of icedove - it shows the mailto: url.
after continuous clicking on mailto links I found that there are a lot
of icedove processed launched

I've migrated from amarok1 to amarok2 and tried to configure it for 6-7
month to make it as convenient as amarok1. But one moment is still
annoying: playlist cannot be sorted by directory.

It is a bug from /2005-05-10 21:43:50 for amarok version / 1.2.3
Since amarok1 finally has filedirectory sorting, it can be implemented
in amarok2 :)
