Bug#465563: nethack-console: Add support for status colors

2008-02-13 Thread Vidar Wahlberg
Package: nethack-console
Version: 3.4.3-10.1
Severity: wishlist

Someone made a patch for status colors, would love to see this patch
applied to nethack-console in the repository.
The patch can be found here:
http://www.ben-kiki.org/oren/statuscolors/index.html

I patched nethack myself, although i've not done anything like this
before so it's probably done wrong (given that the dpatch got a lot
larger than the patch). In any case, the patch I ended up with can be
found here: http://exent.net/~canidae/96_statuscolors.dpatch

Just in case someone stumble upon this report and want statuscolors,
here's how you do it (mostly written from memory):
apt-get source nethack-console
apt-get build-dep nethack-console
cd nethack-3.4.3/debian/patches
wget http://exent.net/~canidae/96_statuscolors.dpatch;
echo 96_statuscolors 00list
cd ../..
dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -uc -b
cd ..
depkg -i nethack-console_3.4.3-10.1_i386.deb

I neither guarantee that the above stuff works nor that it won't cause
your computer to blow up. It does however seem to work for me, and my
computer hasn't blown up just yet :)

Bug#311179: imagemagick: tga support seems to be broken

2005-05-29 Thread Vidar Wahlberg
Package: imagemagick
Version: 6:6.0.6.2-2.3
Severity: important

seems like support for reading tga files is broken. convert test.tga
test.jpg or just display test.tga cause the program to lock up eat
memory until the program is killed.
this is at least the case for this file:
http://exent.net/~canidae/test.tga
