Bug#1067441: Workaround: chromium: Unable to sync profile
Package: chromium Version: 126.0.6478.182-1 Followup-For: Bug #1067441 X-Debbugs-Cc: mal...@gmail.com Dear Maintainer, it is possible to go around this bug by starting chromium with these arguments: --oauth2-client-id=77185425430.apps.googleusercontent.com --oauth2-client-secret=OTJgUOQcT7lO7GsGZq2G4IlT Four ways were tested: 1) Command line (cumbersome). 2) Adding the arguments to CHROMIUM_FLAGS in /usr/bin/chromium (will not survive upgrade). 3) Adding the arguments to Exec line in /usr/share/applications/chromium.desktop (will not survive upgrade). 4) Copying chromium.desktop to ~/.local/share/applications/ and modifying Exec line in the copy (distribution agnostic way to survive upgrades that still carry the bug). Bug#993011: pulseaudio-module-bluetooth: no longer detects bluetooth headphones
Hello, Igor Kovalenko solution work for me only if libspa-0.2-bluetooth package is installed. The solution is described in https://wiki.debian.org/PipeWire#Bluetooth 1) Only pulseaudio-module-bluetooth is installed; it is impossible to pair. 2) Both pulseaudio-module-bluetooth and libspa-0.2-bluetooth are installed; pairing is flaky but not impossible. (Few failed attempts before success.) 3) Only libspa-0.2-bluetooth is installed, pairing is reliable. (It failed the first time after pulseaudio-module-bluetooth was removed.) Failure always end in src/service.c:btd_service_connect() a2dp-sink profile connect failed for XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX: Protocol not available message. Best regards, Sincerely, Viktor Malyarchuk

Dear Paul, look like xserver-xorg-video-nouveau is not compatible with CONFIG_X86_SYSFB=y option in resent Debian kernels. xserver-xorg-video-nouveau work fine with any kernel (tested 3.12, 3.13, 3.14) with this option disabled # CONFIG_X86_SYSFB is not set Best regards, Viktor Malyarchuk

Bug#607956: [Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#607956: network-manager: Does not start with "dhcp=dhcpcd" option in NetworkManager.conf
Hi Michael, yes this is the case. If I build NM on the system with Sid's dhcpcd5 installed, dhcpcd support is enabled. If build happens on dhcpcd-free system, dhcpcd support is disabled by default but could be enabled by "--with-dhcpcd=/sbin/dhcpcd". Could you be so kind to enable NM's dhcpcd support by applying attached patch? It is one-liner that add "--with-dhcpcd=/sbin/dhcpcd \" to "debian/rules". Cheers! Hi Michael, thank you for the message. "--log-level=DEBUG" do not give any new information. I just rebuilt NM on my system. Everything work fine now. I'm not sure what went wrong on my unstable+experimental mix, but at least rebuild fixed the problem. Thank you for your time. Bug#350524: This IS the BUG in DX!
Hi Daniel! I just made some cross checking. The dxhdf5 module is working the same way for dx=1:4.3.2-3 and for dx=1:4.4.0-1! It read data and data attributes correctly! So it is WORKING. Corruption happen sometime latter in DX. So, there is really show stopping bug somewhere... I'll try to ping down place in my dx program where it is happen, but it is for sure not dxhdf5. Cheers! DXfontutils has two main aims: to improve the annotation capabilities in OpenDX, particularly with regard to mathematics and foreign languages; to enable OpenDX to be used as a tool for producing special effects on fonts and text, for example the extruded 3D mathematical equation shown on the right. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#350526: RFP: dxhdf5 -- The package contains two OpenDX modules: ImportHDF5Field and ImportHDF5Species.
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: dxhdf5 Version : 0.4.4 Upstream Author : Ireneusz Szczesniak * URL : http://www-beams.colorado.edu/dxhdf5/ * License : BSD like (Copyright (c) 2004-2002, University of Colorado) Description : The package contains two OpenDX modules: ImportHDF5Field and ImportHDF5Species. The ImportHDF5Field module imports a field or a slab of a field from an HDF5 file. The field can be either scalar or vector and must be described on a regular grid. The ImportHDF5Species module imports from an HDF5 file particles which satisfy the user's conditions. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#350525: RFP: gwyddion -- A Software Framework for SPM Data Analysis
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: gwyddion Version : 1.15 Upstream Author : Petr Klapetek <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * URL : http://gwyddion.net/ * License : GPL Description : A Software Framework for SPM Data Analysis Gwyddion is a modular program for SPM (scanning probe microscopy) data analysis. Primarily it is supposed to be used for analysis of height fields obtained by means of scanning probe microscopy techniques (AFM, MFM, STM, NSOM), but generally it can be used for any other height field analysis or image analysis. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
