Bug#968342: gimp does not start, error GEGL operation missing!

2020-08-13 Thread W Forum W
Package: gimp
Version: 2.10.8-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

Gimp does not start anymore (even after new install)

$ gimp
GEGL-Message: Module '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gegl-0.4/seamless-clone.so'
load error: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgegl-sc-0.4.so: undefined symbol:
__exp_finite

GEGL operation missing!

GIMP requires the GEGL operation "gegl:seamless-clone".
This operation cannot be found. Check your
GEGL install and ensure it has been compiled
with any dependencies required for GIMP.

So it it not possible anymore to use Gimp.

On an other computer we have the same issue.

It worked before.

Bug#881050: ltsp-server: After boot only a black screen

2017-11-07 Thread W Forum W
Package: ltsp-server
Version: 5.5.9-2
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,
We use LTSP with Fat Clients with NBD
Most of the clients need to boot several times before they get the Login Page.
They always get a black screen. After a few reboots the boot process get
through.
This is very annoying for our users.
After login averything works fine.

Any one an idea in wich direction we have to look?

Bug#816183: iceowl-extension: cannot create new calendar

Thanks for the help.

You can fill in nothing. The only buttons on the bottem are Cancel, Back and
Finish.
Back and Finish doesn't do anything, Cancel let the windows disappear.

I can't reproduce your issue. For me all works as expected netherless I
use my various clients or I create new profiles.

Did you check the behaviour with disabled plugins and/or a new profile?

Is there something visible in the JS console (Ctrl+Shif+J) related to
that issue?

Have you tried to start icedove from a terminal and look there for some
output? Note also the hints within the Debian wiki.

  Hi,

If I am correct this is an issue with iceweasel. For some reason
 iceweasel

I do not have access to a stable machine right now. I'll try to
 test it
later tonight but I think I'll assign this bug to the iceweasel
 package.

Where would that 10.0.12 version come from? I don't see it coming from
iceweasel, there must be something fishy with how zotero starts
 up, and
my guess is that the bug reporter has xulrunner 10.0.0.12 on their
 machine.

I tried to open this with iceweasel 10.0.12 (debian testing) and had no problem
I tried to open this with firefox 21.0 (under windows) and also had no problems

This indeed may resolve the issue, but I'm unsure what other effect
this may have and whether it is sufficient to regard the bug itself
as resolved. I'm accessing localhost:631 on Wheezy and the setting
of default options presents no problem.

Deleting and recreating the print queue is something to try.
Any joy with this. Creating another queue without deleting the existing
 one is another route,

There is also OdyX's query to reply to. The more information we have,
 the better.

When I update the 'Default Options' over the Cups Web Interface I always get
 this error
Unable to set options, Broken pipe
 Please post a detailed error_log:

 1. cupsctl --debug-logging

 2. echo '' /var/log/cups/error_log

 3. service cups restart

 4. Then use the web interface to alter the default options,

Also post /etc/cups/cupsd.conf, /etc/cups/cups-files.conf and some
information about your printer and its connection. printers.conf in
/etc/cups might help with the latter.

It is not possible to change 'Default Options' for a printer over the Web
 Interface
Even though you get the 'Broken pipe' message are any of the changes you
 make implemented?

Only one portion of the web interface is affected and there are other
ways of altering the default options. This does not look like a bug
which has a major effect on the package. It seems to fall more in the
 category of 'normal'.

Bug#663081: ldm: login always in fallback mode gnome3

2012-03-15 Thread W Forum W

Hi,

I have tested also with the latest version 2.2.7-1 but the problem still
occurs.

So downgrade to version 2.2.5-2 solved it

Thanks

Bug#663081: ldm: login always in fallback mode gnome3

2012-03-08 Thread W Forum W
Package: ldm
Version: 2:2.2.6-1
Severity: normal

After upgrading from ldm 2.2.5-2 to 2.2.6-1 login always in Gnome3 fallback
mode.
If you change your session manually to Gnome from the LTSP login screen it is
working fine.
So basically you need to select manually Gnome on the LTSP login screen every
time.

This used to work with previous versions of ldm
I reinstalled the old version 2.2.5-2 and the login was working normally again.

We are using ltsp-server-standalone 5.3.1-1 with FAT_CLIENT

2012-02-06 Thread W Forum W
Package: sudo
Version: 1.8.3p2-1
Severity: important

After upgrade sudo from 1.7.4p4-2.squeeze.2 to 1.8.3p2-1 I always get this
error when I try as a user: sudo -i
sudo: setresuid(ROOT_UID, ROOT_UID, ROOT_UID): Operation not permitted
sudo: unable to open /var/lib/sudo/user/2: Operation not permitted
sudo: unable to set gid to runas gid 0: Operation not permitted
sudo: unable to execute /bin/bash: Operation not permitted

To test I installed the old version (sudo_1.7.4p4-2.squeeze) again and
everything works fine again.
