Hello Yaname-san, Thank you for uploading the package. I checked it. 1. There is miss description in debian/control. 2. There are bad configure options in debian/rules 1. debian/control Due to Netatalk speaking AppleTalk, the print-server task can provide printing clients with full AppleTalk support as well as the server itself with printing capabilities for AppleTalk-only printers. Starting with version 2.0, Netatalk seamlessly interacts with CUPS on the server. Netatalk 3.x does not have AppleTalk support. So this description is not needed, or wrong. 2. configure options Below is your configure options. NETATALK_CONFIGURE_FLAGS = \ --enable-fhs\ --enable-overwrite \ --enable-krbV-uam \ --enable-zeroconf \ --with-libgcrypt-dir\ --with-pkgconfdir=/etc/netatalk \ --with-cracklib=/var/cache/cracklib/cracklib_dict \ --with-init-style=debian\ --with-libevent-header=/usr/include/event2 \ --with-libevent-lib=/usr/lib/$(DEB_HOST_MULTIARCH) --enable-fhs and --with-pkgconfdir=/etc/netatalk are not compatible. --with-pkgconfdir=/etc/netatalk is ignored due to --enable-fhs option, so afp.conf is placed at /etc. And there are some configuration files below: afp_signature.conf: /var/netatalk/afp_signature.conf afp_voluuid.conf: /var/netatalk/afp_voluuid.conf I think these files should be described in debian/conffile. Hello, I can produce something in addition. Bevore upgrade to squeeze i could bind samba to an openvpn tun device (interfaces 172.16.10.1/24) after upgrade nmdb cant even start [2011/03/03 06:37:29.641278, 2] lib/interface.c:340(add_interface) added interface 172.16.10.1 /255.2 ip= 172.16.10.1 bcast= 172.16.10 .255 netmask=255.255.255.0 [2011/03/03 06:37:29.641336, 0] lib/util_sock.c:880(open_socket_in) bind failed on port 137 socket_addr = 172.16.10.255 ERROR: Failed when creating subnet lists. Exiting. (why it trys to bind to the broadcast adress hmm) however wen i set the netmask wrong 255.255.255.255 it starts but cant find the interface anymore but it starts at least so i tried without specifiing an interface and bind it to all result is that it binds only to non dynamical interface which are in /etc/network/interfaces all otherinterfaces (bridges and openvpn tuns) are simply not found at all funny thing is smb can bind to all (it also binds fine to my 172.16.10 /249) and apear in the netstat while nmdb does in no case ever bind to those interfaces this is a bit of an real problem - i need the wins support cause most users dont even know what an ip is :-)

In my case, system sounds would still work... but this being KDE3.5, my system sounds don't use pulseaudio. I had no sound in kaffeine or totem. MPlayer did have sound. I found a fix which works for me, other than downgrading. Have you tried running pulseaudio as root or as the pulse user? You can achieve this easily by editing /etc/default/pulseaudio to start the daemon at boot as the pulse user. NOTE: you can probably test this by killing the pulseaudio instances that are run by your user and launch it again as root or pulse. However, for some reason, it sometimes fails to get access to the sound card, with or without issuing an error message at the shell. So, to make sure, I'd rather edit /etc/default/pulseaudio and reboot. Hope this helps. Debian, this is my third attempt at getting this reply accross to your bug system. Hi,
When trying to search in the PHP manual through gPHPEdit, the program
crashes.
Reproduce:
1) Open an existing PHP file or start a new one. Be sure the highlighting
mode is set to PHP/HTML/XML.
2) Type, for instance, the following code. print('test');.
3) Select the word 'print' and press F1. The PHP manual starts up (if
you have phpdoc installed).
4) Press Ctrl-F and type in a word. Press the button 'Find'. The program
crashes. This also occurs when you select a function in the manual and
press F1.
