just insert the dir, when you plug the disk in.
echo "your-mountpoint" >> ~/.aMule/shareddir.dat and then reloading the
shared files should do the trick. With the right udev-rules you can
automate this, too.

Unfortunately not. At least in testing. I can use left/right to select
an article, and up/down for scrolling in the article, but left/right
scrolling in the article works just with the mouse.
