I edited the /etc/grub.d/05_debian_theme file to use the grub2-splashimage
wallpaper on the wallpaper line as such:
WALLPAPER=/usr/share/images/grub/Lake_mapourika_NZ.tga
however running update-grub does not mention the wallpaper,
