Bug#1008965: lazygal: Crashes with illegal chars in IPTC keywords

Hello,

lazygal assumes utf-8 everywhere. I'll see what I can do to ignore this.
This is related to https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/pygobject/-/issues/327 .
I may be wrong by I do not see any obvious way to fix this in lazygal.

Thank you very much for investigation. I guess, I will have to rework 
the tags in old pictures.
