Bug#904009: closed by Sandro Tosi (Re: Bug#904009: reportbug: Backspace, arrow keys and more thing like ctrl+c are not working in some programs)

2018-11-24 Thread develo...@oldunreal.com
I am sorry, I don't understand the explanation for closing this bug. It
happens out of the box (fresh install) for various applications, on
different machines without having any user modifications done. So I have
to assume some more global issue.
How can the average user be expected to dig out a solution for this or
asking for it not having the slightest clue where it is coming from. It
shouldn't happen in the first place.
Due to some lucky incident I stumbled last week across an older Ubuntu
question very similar to mine and it appeared to be the same issue, it
is said there that the problem is somehow caused by gtk ibus and I was
able to make a workaround by setting input method to scim. Maybe this
helps to identify what's going on there.

Bug#895123: libsdl2-2.0-0: This is normally a bug in some application using the D-Bus library.

2018-11-23 Thread develo...@oldunreal.com
Sorry, I assumed the bugtracking system gathered all needed information.
The problem appears on x86_64 when linking a -m32 compiled application
against system provided libsdl2.
