Bug#981368: xserver-xorg-video-intel: Xserver becomes unresponsive with some worloads. maybe related to video rendering

2021-02-02 Thread pablo joubert
Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Followup-For: Bug #981368

Dear Maintainer,

I updated the kernel to linux-image-5.10.0-3-amd64 (5.10.12-1i from 2.10.9-1)
and I am not able to "reproducibly reproduce" the bug I reported a few days ago
anymore.

This report should now be closed.

Kernel version (/proc/version):
---
Linux version 5.10.0-3-amd64 (debian-ker...@lists.debian.org) (gcc-10 (Debian
10.2.1-6) 10.2.1 20210110, GNU ld (GNU Binutils for Debian) 2.35.1) #1 SMP
Debian 5.10.12-1 (2021-01-30)

Bug#739402: awesome-extra: 2012061101 version is out of date, please upgrade

2015-06-14 Thread pablo joubert
Package: awesome-extra
Version: 2012061101
Followup-For: Bug #739402

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

Last packages updates (sid) brought awesome package from 3.4.15-1+b1 to 3.5.6-1.
The load of the shifty classes results in an error, the configuration is
therfore the default one

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?

Shifty is no more maintained, and can be replaced with Tyrannical:
https://github.com/Elv13/tyrannical
I did clone it in my .config/awesome directory, retrieved the example rc file
and adapted with my old shifty configuration

   * What was the outcome of this action?

Successful, I could have my dynamic tags

This extension may be added to the awesome-extra package, and the shifty
package can be removed (as it is no longer functionnal)

Bug#743136: New scp does not allow to save

2014-03-31 Thread Pablo Joubert

Vim version:
ii vim 2:7.4.225-1amd64 Vi
IMproved - enhanced vi editor

lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Debian
Description:Debian GNU/Linux unstable (sid)
Release:unstable
Codename: sid

I can confirm this behavior, and the workaround isn't working with the
following command.

:set buftype=

Vim output was like that it was ok but the file was not really modified.
Output from status line:

:!scp -q '/tmp/v9Ki1U3/0' 'host1:/etc/myconffile.conf'

Note that I was editing the file on two remote servers with the
following command:

vimdiff scp://host{1,2}//etc/myconffile.conf

Cheers,
