Bug#842961: add missing backtrace
Hi Carsten, I'm sorry to say that the crash isn't reproducable anymore since the mail provider is working again (i.e. riseup's smtp server sending mails). This hints for icedove having problems with error handling. If the problem reoccurs, I will try to collect the full log and will use the iedove-dbg package. Btw. I'm using the current icedove version in testing. i.e.: apt-cache policy icedove icedove: Installiert: 1:45.4.0-1 Installationskandidat: 1:45.4.0-1 Versionstabelle: *** 1:45.4.0-1 900 900 http://ftp.at.debian.org/debian stretch/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Regards, Stefan On 2016-11-04 08:47, Carsten Schoenert wrote: > Hello Stefan, > > On Thu, Nov 03, 2016 at 11:18:32PM +0100, stefan esterer wrote: >> the attachement contains the backtrace collected via (gdb) thread apply >> all bt > > please add the *full* log created as described in > https://wiki.debian.org/Icedove#Starting_Debugging > > We don't know which version you using nor were the segfault is happen. > We "only" have now the backtrace. Bug#842961: crash reproducable when sending mail
I'm getting a segmentation fault error in icedove when sending a mail via smtp.riseup.net. Sending via gmail does not trigger the crash. Here is a log which was collected as this page [1] suggests: Thread 1 "icedove-bin" received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. 0x7fffc6e1d060 in ?? () This crash is reproducable for me, the crash happens every time I try to send a mail. I suppose this could be linked with the risup service not accesible at this time? Bug#819336: linux: lenovo t460 suspend fails when on battery
Source: linux Version: 4.4.6-1 Severity: important Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer, When having the notebook on the AC, suspending works. But if the notebook is on batteries and I close the lid to suspend, the notebook freezes instantly. When I add the intel_pstate=no_hwp parameter to the grub configuration, the problem vanishes, but the notebook uses more power. There already exists a kernel bug tracker entry for this problem: Bug 113551 - intel_pstate=no_hwp else Thinkpad T460s freezes on lid close on battery power (https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113551). Package: kernel-image-2.6.8-2-686 Severity: critical Justification: breaks the whole system I was installing Sarge on to my new notebook (Acer Extensa 4102 WLMI) with linux26 (so it installs the 2.6.8-2 kernel).
