Bug#588520: spider: Help button does not work
Package: spider Version: 1.2-5 Severity: normal *** Please type your report below this line *** *.Imakefile files in source refer to /usr/doc/spider directory, but it doesn't exist. As a workaround, if that directory is created and the doc.* files are copied there (after uncompressing), Help button starts working. Suggestions: 1. Change in all *.Imakefile files the line: HELPDIR = /usr/doc/spider to become: HELPDIR = /usr/share/doc/spider 2. Add the following 2 lines to debian/rules file so that doc.* files are not automatically compressed by dh_compress when building the package: override_dh_compress: dh_compress -Xdoc.rules -Xdoc.controls -Xdoc.examples -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages spider depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-2 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libice6 2:1.0.6-1 X11 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libsm62:1.1.1-1 X11 Session Management library ii libx11-6 2:1.3.3-3 X11 client-side library ii libxaw7 2:1.0.7-1 X11 Athena Widget library ii libxext6 2:1.1.1-3 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxmu6 2:1.0.5-1 X11 miscellaneous utility library ii libxpm4 1:3.5.8-1 X11 pixmap library ii libxt61:1.0.7-1 X11 toolkit intrinsics library spider recommends no packages. spider suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
