Wouldn't be also possible to sample the "wall clock" at a given frequency (say e.g. 2 or 3Hz) to be able to see a "jump" on that measure ("wall clock)? Wouldn't that detect a suspend or hivernate event? Thanks, --xiscu

Bug#912356: terminology: Pasting from menu blocks terminal
Package: terminology Version: 1.2.1-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, copy a string (e.g. some path), then paste it on the terminal over the context menu (usually mouse-right-click). Afterwards, the terminal doesn't seem to be responsive anymore (e.g. unable to move the cursor, or 'return' the command). The terminal gets reponsible again if one opens a new terminal with the context menu (and then closes it) or if the context menu is just opened again and then scaped by clicking on the terminal. Bug#883419: python3-requests: RequestsDependencyWarning urllib3 (1.21.1) or chardet (2.3.0) doesn't match a supported version
Hi Daniele, > > As far I can see from the warning, it seems that you are using a local > installed version of requests. Are you mixing system packages with local > installed one? This use case is not supported on Debian, can you use a > virtualenv instead? thanks for the hint: it got mixed; I'll go with virtualenv. After fixing the issue locally, the warning is gone, so please feel free to close the bug report. Regards, xiscu

Bug#686026: /usr/bin/mandb: can't search directory /usr/local/share/man: Permission denied

Not intentionally Then to be honest I think the correct solution to this bug is to make that directory world-readable/executable. It doesn't seem to make sense for /usr/local/share/man to be readable only by root. Perhaps it was set that way by some deranged install script. chmod 2755 /usr/local/share/man Does that fix your problem? Depending on how far the insanity goes, you may need to similarly chmod some subdirectories. I've changed the permissions (also for the subdirectories) as you proposed, then I've upgraded the packages with aptitude and no complains where raised. E.g.: [...] Unpacking replacement initscripts ... Processing triggers for man-db ... Setting up initscripts (2.88dsf-31) ... [...] As far as I can say it's gone. So I think that you can close the bug. Nowadays I'll keep an eye on the messages, if that happens again I can just send extra info to it (686026). Is it that Ok? Bug#653699: Tooltip font color
Dear Developer, I've just found that the problem is the font color that is not so different as the fill color, producing the effect. In my case I've changed the font color to white (as the fill color is black with opacity 179). Please consider just changing this setting by default. Bug#648538: gnome: No new gnome-terminal if one is already open
Thanks Gergely, I got confused in reportbug as it didn't gave me a good pagination and in the terminal I couldn't see all the packages... I'll try again with a feature request for it... Well it's the first time using the new Gnome interface so I thing It's just a feature and not a bug (but IMHO it breaks intuition ...) regards, xiscu On 11/12/2011 09:10 PM, Gergely Nagy wrote: reassign 648538 gnome-shell severity 648538 normal thanks xiscuxi...@email.de writes: Package: q Version: gnome 3 Severity: important File: gnome When filing bugs, please try to fill out these values appropriately: there is no package called 'q', and especiallyt not one with version 'gnome 3'.
