That's not really a proper way to report a bug, you know?
Also, lightdm (and KDM I guess) are meant to be desktop-agnostic, so I
fail to see what we should do here. I don't want to special-case one
desktop over another. If GNOME needs special care, then it needs to
express it itself.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, sorry. Anyway, I was trying to be
helpful, I don't use LightDM personally. I'm happy to file a bug for
this somewhere else if you can tell me where that would be.
Please refrain to open bugs for stuff you don't use and where you're
unable to provide any useful information.
Right now there's just nothing I can do with that.
