Bug#773562: lintian: detect non-free and contrib packages without a Disclaimer in debian/copyright
Package: lintian Severity: wishlist According to Debian Policy section 12.5: https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-docs.html#s-copyrightfile Packages in the contrib or non-free archive areas should state in the copyright file that the package is not part of the Debian distribution and briefly explain why. For packages in contrib/non-free that have a copyright-format 1.0 debian/copyright file, please check that there is a Disclaimer or Comment header that contains the phrase not part of Debian. This check should probably be marked as experimental and info level severity.
