Yeah, let's see. Personally I think "better safe than sorry", but... Re-enabled libreoffice-mysql-connector. Upload in progress (will be NEW "of course", though) Regards, Rene

I'm sure that installs from experimental can be safely ignored... IMHO (>= 1.1.7) is sufficient because it will work for everybody except those who installed libmysqlcppconn7v5 1.1.7-1 or 1.1.7-2 from "experimental"... -- Regards, Dmitry Smirnov. --- Good luck happens when preparedness meets opportunity. signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part.

I saw mysql-connector-c++ 1.1.7-4 but that gives you only a dependency libmysqlcppconn7v5 (>= 1.1.7). Whereas to be sure here we should add a >= 1.1.7-3. There were the ((probably) broken) 1.1.7-1 and 1.1.7-2 in the arhive; admittedly only in experimental to people would have needed to install it maually, but... Regards, Rene

Don't do it manually. Just re-build against mysql-connector-c++ 1.1.7-4 where I've fixed shlibs for tighter versioning. Properly versioned dependency will be generated automatically. -- Best wishes, Dmitry Smirnov. --- If you focus your mind on the freedom and community that you can build by staying firm, you will find the strength to do it. Maybe you shouuld add a explicit libmysqlcppconn7v5 (>= 1.1.7-3) dependency, though to go sure. > Maybe i should try libreoffice-mysql-connecor, too. LO doesn't without a rebuilt, but it seems it does after a rebuild... I will for sure add a dependency as above. Regards, Rene
