Bug#846934: neofetch: Please package neofetch 2.0 please.

2016-12-04 Thread Dylan Araps
Hello,

I would suggest waiting for 2.0.1 which will be released over the next few
days.
Numerous bugs were found in the 2.0 release and 2.0.1 will fix them all.

See the commit history from after the 2.0 update:

https://github.com/dylanaraps/neofetch/compare/2.0...master

Also the current changelog:

https://github.com/dylanaraps/neofetch/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md

Thanks,

Dylan

Dear Maintainer,
Came to know that neofetch got a big ass update. As per -

http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2016/12/cli-system-tool-neofetch-2-0-released

Can we have it in Debian, pretty please. I did see if we have the new
version in either unstable/sid or experimental but was not there.

[$] apt-cache policy neofetch

600 http://httpredir.debian.org/debian testing/main amd64 Packages
  1 http://httpredir.debian.org/debian unstable/main amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Look forward to the fix.
