Currently waiting on the ITP: maturin [1] to finish. When it is done
then I can start to have a look again at this ITP.

I'm very interested in this python-orjson it is a dependency of some new 
python packages that I would like to include in debian-gis.


Could I kindly ask what is the status of the packaging and if you have 
an idea about when this package could go in the new queue?


Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to support you.
Is there a public repository for the debian package?
