The package responsible for providing keyboard layout is xkb-data. I am
reassigning the bug there.

Bug#1004207: locales: Add schwa combination in IT Keyboard layout

2022-01-22 Thread Nicola
Package: locales
Version: 2.33-2
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

could be useful add a combination to keyboard layout to write the schwa
character ( ə )

IMHO the actual combination of AltGr + SHIFT + e (that produces ¢ , witch is
already also in AltGr + SHIFT + c) could be assigned to Schwa.

Personally I don't like too much the usage of schwa in Italian, but is becoming
more and more used.
