Bug#1012059: bind9: autopkgtest regression on amd64 and armhf: connection refused
Control: tags -1 pending Hi, With a recent upload of bind9 the autopkgtest of bind9 fails in testing on amd64 and armhf when that autopkgtest is run with the binary packages of bind9 from unstable. It passes when run with only packages from testing. In tabular form: I have had a brief look and it seems we are just too quick. Adding a sleep 1 into the setup function makes the test succeed. However, I cannot figure out the current repository layout anymore. debian/main appears to be outdated. The closest thing that matches Debian sid right now is the isc/9.18 branch. > Could you please tell me how to handle this repository? Since you have changed the structure of the repo again and I'm now reasonably sure that I have to look at the debian/9.18 branch I've pushed a commit fixing the autopkgtest regression in there. Not sure when it will land, since there is already a 9.18.4-1 tagged in there but not yet uploaded. Bernhard

Bug#1012059: bind9: autopkgtest regression on amd64 and armhf: connection refused
Source: bind9 Version: 1:9.18.3-1 Severity: serious User: debian...@lists.debian.org Usertags: regression Dear maintainer(s), With a recent upload of bind9 the autopkgtest of bind9 fails in testing on amd64 and armhf when that autopkgtest is run with the binary packages of bind9 from unstable. It passes when run with only packages from testing. In tabular form: passfail bind9 from testing1:9.18.3-1 versioned deps [0] from testingfrom unstable all others from testingfrom testing I copied some of the output at the bottom of this report. Currently this regression is blocking the migration to testing [1]. Can you please investigate the situation and fix it? More information about this bug and the reason for filing it can be found on https://wiki.debian.org/ContinuousIntegration/RegressionEmailInformation Paul [0] You can see what packages were added from the second line of the log file quoted below. The migration software adds source package from unstable to the list if they are needed to install packages from bind9/1:9.18.3-1. I.e. due to versioned dependencies or breaks/conflicts.
