Hi, I am also an affected user, and can reproduce on a Gentoo Linux system with nvidia graphics, but not on a Gentoo Linux system with Intel graphics.
I have skimmed Firefox' bug tracker and found: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1758473 which explains why the crashing test is executed during each startup of Firefox (especially also when opening URLs), and that it is caused by a defect in the nvidia driver. I have subsequently opened: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1787182 highlighting that this causes coredumps on each Firefox start on user systems. Cheers, Oliver
