I've been working on the infrastructure for a while, but then need to figure out the right way to package the tree-sitter parsers. This is going to take some time. I may upload 0.8.0 to experimental before this, just to get some testing on the parts that don't use tree-sitter. However, tree-sitter will be needed before uploading to unstable.
