Package: reportbug Version: 11.5.1 Severity: normal
When trying to provide additional information to an existing bug, a configuration problem from my side prevented reportbug from sending a mail. reportbug then suggested to use "reportbug -r /tmp/[...]" to resume the submission. However, this option made reportbug send the mail to submit@ instead of replying to the existing bug number. This created a new bug, even if the existing bug number was present in the "Followup-For" pseudo-header. See #1021480 for such a junk bug. -- Package-specific info: ** Environment settings: INTERFACE="text" ** $HOME/.reportbugrc: reportbug_version "11.5.1" mode advanced ui text realname "Nicolas Cavallari" email "batch...@free.fr" smtphost "smtp.free.fr:587" smtpuser "batchman" smtptls -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.19.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages reportbug depends on: ii apt 2.5.3 ii python3 3.10.6-1 ii python3-reportbug 11.5.1 ii sensible-utils 0.0.17 reportbug recommends no packages.
