Bug#1021804: gnome-terminal: Wrong window name "Preferences" showing up in Gnome Dash and the application switcher (Alt-Tab) for running terminals

2022-10-16 Thread Patrice Duroux
Hi, But isn't there like a redundancy between the two .desktop files? Looking at the section [Desktop Action preferences] in org.gnome.Terminal.desktop and the section [Desktop Entry] in org.gnome.Terminal.Preferences.desktop or using 'meld' to compare them, they are some similarities, no?

Package: gnome-terminal Version: 3.46.1-2 Severity: minor X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-b...@ronny-rentner.de Dear Maintainer, when I run Gnome Terminal, it shows up under the name "Preferences" in Gnome Dash and in the application switcher. This also makes the application grouping fail in Gnome Dash.
