I suspect to have this same bug. In case it's useful, I got kernel logs via serial console, see attachment. Therein I have marked where VGA console output stops. Serial console goes a bit further. SysRq+B still works. My system: MSI 785GM-E51 (AMD 785G+SB710) + Dell Radeon R5 240 OEM (Oland). I
