It is now the only package that depends on libglademm2.4:

so porting it from libglade('s C++ bindings) to GtkBuilder would have a
disproportionate impact on the number of unmaintained libraries needed
in the archive.

libglade was superseded by GtkBuilder in GTK 2.12, released in 2007.
Moving from libglade to GtkBuilder would be a good first step towards
replacing GTK 2 with GTK 3.
