Dolphin gains the ability to display thumbnails of Canon's CR3 raw image files through the updated libraw and kimageformats in bookworm, but it is too slow and consumes too much CPU especially when the directory has a number of image files and RAW preview is toggled on in preference, the fans of my workstation are roaring constantly. It looks to me that it's always trying to render the thumbnail from a full RAW file, rather than using the embedded thumbnail (which is commonly seen in RAW image formats). Darktable in bookworm, which is also backed by libraw for CR3 support, is able to display the embedded thumbnail. Finally I'm not sure whether this report is suitable for dolphin or kimageformat-plugins, please help reassign the proper package. Thanks, Aron
