I believe it was tested on a system that had libadwaita from
Experimental installed. Anyway, we're uploading libadwaita-1 to
Unstable now.

Thank you,

Yes, sure. But all this sounds like nobody actually tested the uploaded
wike version. The uploads should have gone to experimental …

This will be fixed when the newer libadwaita-1-dev in experimental gets
uploaded to unstable, presumably as part of GNOME 44. We've been delaying
the upload of most of GNOME 44 to unstable until after the 12.1 point
release, in order to get more testing for GNOME 43 packages' upstream
bugfix releases as potential Debian 12 stable updates.

I think the only way to resolve this in unstable sooner would be to revert
to wike 1.8.x with a +really version, which is probably not worth it when
GNOME 44 is on the way anyway.

Source: wike
Version: 2.0.1-3
Severity: serious
Tags: ftbfs
Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past)

https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=wike=sid

Dependency installability problem for wike on amd64:

wike build-depends on missing:
- libadwaita-1-dev:amd64 (>= 1.3)
