The latest upstream release of canu only works on architectures with {u,}int128 (basically just 64-bit systems + x32). Please remove the binary packages of the incompatible archs, none of which are mentioned anymore in the Debian source package: armel armhf i386 mipsel alpha arc hppa hurd-i386 m68k powerpc sh4
