Hi, it seems, DistUtilsExtra.auto fails to determine "requires" from import statements in source code. While gTranscribe produces the correct dependencies on 2023-01-05 (https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=gtranscribe&arch=all&ver=0.11-1&stamp=1672939550&raw=0) it doesn't do that on 2023-08-15 (https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=gtranscribe&arch=all&ver=0.11-2&stamp=1692119063&raw=0) The only difference between 0.11-1 and 0.11-2 is --- a/debian/clean +++ b/debian/clean @@ -1,2 +1,3 @@ MANIFEST po/gTranscribe.pot +gTranscribe.egg-info/ Building 0.11-1 today on unstable results in missing dependencies as well.
