Package: python3-distutils-extra
Version: 2.50

Hi,

it seems, DistUtilsExtra.auto fails to determine "requires" from import
statements in source code.

While gTranscribe produces the correct dependencies on 2023-01-05
(https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=gtranscribe&arch=all&ver=0.11-1&stamp=1672939550&raw=0)
it doesn't do that on 2023-08-15
(https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=gtranscribe&arch=all&ver=0.11-2&stamp=1692119063&raw=0)

The only difference between 0.11-1 and 0.11-2 is

--- a/debian/clean
+++ b/debian/clean
@@ -1,2 +1,3 @@
 MANIFEST
 po/gTranscribe.pot
+gTranscribe.egg-info/

Building 0.11-1 today on unstable results in missing dependencies as well.

Best,
Philip
