Last time TuxOnIce was usable on my laptop was with Linux 4.1: at some point I had to give it up. This is a pity that it never got merged upstream because vanilla hibernation is still so limited (slow, memory constraints, no UI to cancel the process or hide ugly consoles...). I guess it was too much work for the author to follow changes in the kernel - no dev for 5 years. And about the UI (i.e. the package I request RM), the upstream repository has disappeared. So I think it's time for tuxonice-userui to retire. Julien
