It takes two PDF files as arguments, and generates an output PDF file that highlights the differences between the two input files. Besides, it can compare the two files visually in a simple GUI. The original package name (and the executable name) is diff-pdf. However there is an existing package called diffpdf, so I rename it to diff-pdf-wx (for using wxwidgets) to avoid confusion. Compare to diffpdf: Both two tools can compare PDF files in a visual way. However this tool is more lightweight (by not depending on Qt) and can generate the diff result in PDF format. Thus it is widely adopted in academia to generate revised versions of submitted manuscripts. Many conferences / journals recommend this tool in their revision process. Also many LaTeX template authors use it to compare LaTeX-rendered PDFs to original Word version. Currently Fedora / CentOS has officially packed this tool.
