Package: calamares Severity: minor X-Debbugs-Cc: cqu...@arcor.de I have used the debian-live-12.4.0-amd64-xfce.iso image to try a live Debian system with XFCE. I then launched the installer icon and a somehow scary message shows up:
"Untrusted application launcher The desktop file "install-debian.desktop" is in an insecure location and not marked as executable. If you do not trust this program click Cancel. Exec=install-debian" I clicked in "Launch Anyway" and thinks worked fine, but I guess someone else might be deterred from installing Debian due to the somehow scary message. -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.4 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.5.0-0.deb12.4-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=es_ES.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=es_ES:es Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages calamares depends on: ii kpackagetool5 5.103.0-1 pn libboost-python1.74.0 <none> pn libboost-python1.74.0-py311 <none> ii libc6 2.36-9+deb12u3 ii libcrypt1 1:4.4.33-2 ii libgcc-s1 12.2.0-14 ii libkf5configcore5 5.103.0-2 ii libkf5coreaddons5 5.103.0-1 ii libkf5package5 5.103.0-1 ii libkf5parts5 5.103.0-1 ii libkpmcore12 22.12.3-1 ii libparted2 3.5-3 ii libpwquality1 1.4.5-1+b1 ii libpython3.11 3.11.2-6 ii libqt5core5a 5.15.8+dfsg-11 ii libqt5dbus5 5.15.8+dfsg-11 ii libqt5gui5 5.15.8+dfsg-11 ii libqt5network5 5.15.8+dfsg-11 ii libqt5qml5 5.15.8+dfsg-3 ii libqt5quick5 5.15.8+dfsg-3 ii libqt5quickwidgets5 5.15.8+dfsg-3 ii libqt5svg5 5.15.8-3 ii libqt5webkit5 5.212.0~alpha4-30 ii libqt5widgets5 5.15.8+dfsg-11 ii libqt5xml5 5.15.8+dfsg-11 ii libstdc++6 12.2.0-14 pn libyaml-cpp0.7 <none> ii os-prober 1.81 Versions of packages calamares recommends: pn btrfs-progs <none> ii squashfs-tools 1:4.5.1-1 calamares suggests no packages.
