Package: focuswriter Version: 1.8.6-1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: dhe...@vivaldi.net
Dear Maintainer, Focuswriter randomly hangs and freezes, forcing me to "ps -ax | grep focus" , then "kill [focuswriter process number]". To reproduce the bug: (a) Open Focuswriter and use it until it hangs, this usually happens under 5 to 10 minutes of continuous use. This bug happens just under my 32-bit Debian, no matter if I'm using Debian Bookworm/Stable (in which Focuswriter is version 1.8.4.1) or Trixie/Testing (in which Focuswriter is version 1.8.6.1+b1). Also, it doesn't matter what Window Manager/Desktop Rnvironment I'm using. All my 64-bit Debian installations are free of this bug. I didn't try to reproduce the bug under other Linux distros or under Windows. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.6.13-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=pt_BR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=pt_BR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=pt_BR:pt:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages focuswriter depends on: ii libc6 2.37-15 ii libgcc-s1 14-20240201-3 ii libhunspell-1.7-0 1.7.2+really1.7.2-10+b1 ii libqt6core6 6.4.2+dfsg-21 ii libqt6gui6 6.4.2+dfsg-21 ii libqt6multimedia6 6.4.2-4 ii libqt6network6 6.4.2+dfsg-21 ii libqt6printsupport6 6.4.2+dfsg-21 ii libqt6widgets6 6.4.2+dfsg-21 ii libstdc++6 14-20240201-3 ii zlib1g 1:1.3.dfsg-3+b1 focuswriter recommends no packages.
