Hello, debian developers have lived with a version of cron daemon which kept shouting for 22 years, maybe some of them silently created scripts which depend on that shouting behaviour.
As bug report #15258 has got no activity for 22 years, in order to improve the signal/noise rate of the bugs list against cron, I shall close this bug report.
