Hi Fulvio, About 3 years ago, you reported a bug to the Debian BTS regarding the X server not working well on a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro and an Acer AL722 LCD monitor. Support for such ATI boards is much better in current Xorg. Did you reproduce this problem recently? If not, I will close this bug in the next weeks.
