GNU SASL 0.2.5 is available, and (since 0.2.4 really) contain a completely rewritten DIGEST-MD5 implementation, among other things. --enable-digest-md5 is no longer required.
If there is any possibility of getting this into Sarge, that would be very nice. Further, including the GTK-DOC API reference manual, and possibly the PS/PDF/HTML manual, might be useful.
