Bug#286154: msttcorefonts: please rename to ttf-mscorefont

2007-05-14 Thread Fabian Greffrath
Hello Martin-Éric and Thijs,

IMHO the binary package should be renamed to 'ttf-mscorefonts' (i.e.
plural) or even simplier 'ttf-corefonts' without the 'ms' abbreviation.

Cheers,
Fabian

I could consider that, although the packagename msttcorefonts has been quite

would it be possible to rename the binary package created in
debian/control to ttf-mscorefont (the source package
name can remain the same)? By doing this, the binary should also
Conflict with and Replace the old package name.

Thank you for your report. I'll consider it, but not right before the
etch release (I've only just adopted this package). There's of course a
point that this package doesn't actually contain the fonts. But I'll see
about that after Etch.
