Is this still a problem in 2.6.12?
I know vesa is a bit screwy in 2.6.13 since we made it a non-module,
but that is a different problem.

VGA consoles don't work. Mode set to 791. Chipset VT8378 [S3 UniChrome]
Integrated Video (rev 01)
Works with 2.6.10 and previous. Screen blank until X comes up
