Hello,

Thomas, it is pretty easy to understand which screen library is
used by MC. Just type "mc -V" and take a look at the
output - you should get one of the following lines:

  "Using system-installed S-Lang library"
  "Using included S-Lang library"
  "Using the ncurses library"

Now, back to the matter - this problem has nothing to do with
the screen handling library. The following thread might

Btw it migth be worth updating your MC package as well.
