Package: bugzilla
Version: 2.18-6
Severity: normal
Tags: sid

I just installed bugzilla 2.18-6. In DebConf, I chose manual
configuration and entered stuff. For the new MySQL user, "bugzilla", I
intentionally entered an empty password. However, the postinst then
failed with the following error message:

  ...
  Setting up bugzilla (2.18-6) ...
An error occured with the MySQL values !
  dpkg: error processing bugzilla (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 2
  Errors were encountered while processing:
   bugzilla
  E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

I think the postinst should allow an empty password to be used.
