(tested with the same, rebuilded mondo.1.6-1) Having pondered about this and looked at the code in mindi, I have come to think that the key is: ......mount: unknown filesystem type 'vfat' mindi creates floppy image files and mounts them as vfat. For that, vfat has to be available in the kernel either as a module or compiled in. What kernel are you using? Can you verify for me that it has vfat? > ok - another reason - i want help but i don't want to publish my > emails :) (my english isn't too good as you see) Well, that's certainly nice and appreciated but the Debian bug tracking system is there record all traffic in regards to bugs. Why don't you get yourself a second free email account (like Yahoo or something) and use that for bug reports? (I'll not cc the bug for now because I respect your desire for privacy but I would really appreciate this to change again...) Regards Andree -- Andree Leidenfrost Sydney - Australia
