I can't reproduce at all with current sid. All four situations (mp3/ogg, kfile/konqueror) work well for me. I fixed the bug by removing kplayer (from unofficial sources on nerim.net). Optionally one can aptitude reinstall kdelibs-data and log out/in, which may help matters. I think I will
