This package provides two utilities - bsdiff and bspatch - which create and patch binary files. The package depends on bzip2; and creates files which are much smaller. More details are available in the man pages. The author has written version 6 of this program as a part of his doctoral thesis, but the Oxford University claims copyright over that version. Ports for *BSDs, Darwin, and Microsoft's operating system are available. A python extension module too is available at http://starship.python.net/crew/atuining/cx_bsdiff/index.html The home page for the bsdiff is http://www.daemonology.net/bsdiff/
