Package: module-assistant
Version: 0.10.2
Severity: normal

module-assistant thinks pwc-source is not installed:

  # module-assistant -v -t update pwc-source
  Updating info about pwc-source

  Updated infos about 1 packages
  # module-assistant list pwc-source
  pwc-source (source package not installed):
    -- Binary package(s) for kernel(s):
       + (2.6.14-2-powerpc):
       pwc-modules-2.6.14-2-powerpc_10.0.9-1+2.6.14-4_powerpc.deb

however, pwc-source is indeed installed:

  # apt-cache policy pwc-source
  pwc-source:
    Installed: 10.0.9-1
    Candidate: 10.0.9-1
    Version table:
   *** 10.0.9-1 0
          500 http://ftp.nl.debian.org unstable/main Packages
          100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

It turns out that pwc-source installs an override in
/usr/share/modass/overrides (actually, a symlink to
/usr/share/modass/packages/default.sh. This seems strange in itself, but I
cannot judge whether this is a good or a bad thing).

While using module-assistant, it is not clear that pwc-source has an
override. The only indication that something is wrong, is that m-a says
pwc-source is not installed.
