Can you check?
Make sure you have your 'ccache' directory writable as the user
running ccache inside chroot.
It's working on this end.

Are you saying that you are seeing a different PATH setting
from what is specified in /etc/pbuilderrc or ~/.pbuilderrc ?
Or are you setting a --configfile option?
