Hmm, this should be almost impossible to have the kernel send an event
without DEVPATH. No idea what's going on here. Are we sure that nothing
uses udevsend or any other tool that talks to the udev daemon?

Does blacklisting or temporarily renaming  the modules "parport_pc" and
"parport" and "lp" make the box booting?
