~/.ccache gets bigger whene I cross-compile so I guess that's a "yes".
I couldn't find a lot of information on that topic, however, according to
this Gentoo page:

I couldn't find any information as to whether ccache works when doing
cross compilation. Can you please add something to the documentation
about this. Thanks.
