on amd64 compilation fails like this:

-MT avrdude-lexer.o -MD -MP -MF .deps/avrdude-lexer.Tpo -c -o avrdude-lexer.o

It's failing to build on all 64 bit arches.
Since it build before on al arches, it's an RC bug.
